The Annual Okra Festival is rated as one of the top 10 things to do during the month of August in the State of Alabama.
The event is held in the town of Burkville which is located in beautiful Lowndes County, Alabama on the last Saturday in August
It's is fun for all ages. It offers a taste of Lowndes County's cultural arts, music, crafts & food.
It is sponsored by Annie Mae's Place and other local, state and community organizations.
